After decade after decade of losing population, North Dakota is finally reversing that trend.

Great for the residents that stuck around. Open some eateries & make it while it last.
Everything is going to get going now that Obama & crew are busted.
A Great day for America. It should be a holiday.

If I could put up with the cold winters, maybe I should go and open a Subway shop there.

Should they find frackable gas underneath the wilds of Flint and Detroit (or Connecticut or western Oregon or DC for that matter), my Radical Republican friends on this site may have a chance to be proven right. Until then, remember that North Dakota had been in a long decline in population during the last 100 years before the recent oil boom - and the people presently finding jobs there don't seem to be the type to settle down in the land of frozen winters...especially when another source of easy petromoney pops up elsewhere.

It looks like the ghost towns I stopped at in the middle of the night while driving through North Dakota a decade ago, trying to find a gas station. Rural North Dakota is a bleak place.

Just goes to show that if idiots from different political parties would want to think "straight", we could be doing much more to benefit ourselves.

There are definitely problems associated with growth of this magnitude, but there are difficulties associated with stagnant non growth and unemployment. While much of our country is experiencing a recession, it is heart warming to see that there is hope for some Americans.
Keep it up North Dakota! I wish that the climate was more agreeable to this Florida boy.
