When Chrysler start building cars that last and not fall apart after 36 months, then I would consider one. They still have quality issues as far as I'm concerned.

Had 120k on my first and 150k on my 2nd. Turned 120k Saturday, and am aiming for 175-200k on this one. I do hope they come out with a Challenger convertible. SWEET!!!! That would make me sell by current Dodge "a little earlier".

Many reasons. Not the least of which is that I never have to experience an overwhelming feeling of guilt when I look at an American flag.

::::Never again! Bought Quad Ram w/ 5.7 Hemi in May '04. Took it back week later telling them I heard a "tick" when @ idle. Mechs always said they couldn't find anything. Enroute back to NC from LA, valve spring broke knocking out cyl #7 @ only 62K. Of course Dodge wouldn't cover so $2500 out of pocket later the "tick" was gone. Mopar crap!::: My 1st Corolla did the same thing. Valve spring broke, Toyota must be crap too...

<<<I bought my Charger SRT8 because it is fast and handles great. >>> . . Don't forget good looks. When you look in the dictionary under TESTOSTERONE, it says 'see Dodge Charger'.
. Is it any wonder why many of the state police use Chargers? As soon as a perp sees a statie pull alongside in a Charger, he cowers in terror and surrenders. Ever see a statie cruising in a Honda?

We have one Dodge and one Chrysler. The transmissions had to be replaced at about 100,000, but other than that, fine machines.

Our 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan just turned 10,000 miles. So far, nothing has gone wrong, and it's been a joy to drive.

We had a 2001 Plymouth Voyager that we put 160,000 miles on before the torque converter died in March, we turned around and got a 2008 Dodge Caravan. We looked at Honda and Toyota vans but the Dodge seemed to be the best of the group.

I'd rather have a vehicle where you didn't need to use the warranty, but that's something that's so far been beyond the reach of Mopar.

wilcorp1, my experience is quite the opposite of your friends (I see it is not your actual) experience. I have two Grand Cherokees a 2004 and a 1995. They are great dependable cars. I also have a 1995 Cherokee Sport with over 250,000 miles. It is the most fun to drive! No problem with Jeep here.
You can pick up many '90's Jeeps for less than $2500 and get a very dependable vehicle.

I wouldn't buy a Dodge cause the depreciation value is horrible, quality is horrible and when I think of the Jeep line and why people purchase them they go for the looks and not the reliability and value. Case in point my wife's cousin and some friend's of mine
-the cousin thought of purchasing a Liberty becasue it was a "Jeep" and it looked cool! -Friend1 bought one because "it would be cool" and it would haul her camping gear (she has never went camping, she likes resorts and four star hotels). -Friend2 bought one but a year later the transmission went out on it. -Friend3 bought it used and six months later the engine died.

I don't know. I had a Dodge truck for 10 years, but doubt if I'd buy another Dodge anything.

Well, if you are a drug dealer/thug/'bro, or wannabe, you drive a Dodge Magnum. You put on those ridiculous rims and enormous tires - the equivalent of automotive bling-bling , and drive around trying to look cool. The former drug dealer car of choice was the Escalade, and before that the Maxima. Thats all passe now. Current ghetto fashion requires a Dodge Magnum. . .Too bad as the Magnum is a great car, its unfortunate the low-life's have adopted it.
