We loved for 15 yrs, shared the birth of 3 children, supported each other thru the loss of one in 2004. Passed in her sleep on 12/28/2007, at the age of 34.

We also had 2 children. No words can ever make things better. The only advice I can give you is to be strong for yourself and your children. Time will help but there will always be a void. Concentrate on the good things and remember what your wife would want you to do for you and your children. There is no blame, there is no reason. Do not let yourself get into the "what if" game, you will never win and you will never know "what if". Know that your not alone there are more of us out there and that you will be ok even if you don't feel like it will. Keep your head up, she would want you to. I think that the difficulty of your loss is that your children most need your support when you have the least amount of emotional energy to provide it. I hope you have extended family who can be there to help. Don't be afraid to give them a call. Try hard to stay strong; when you can't, do ask for help. When children act out, they are merely saying, "I need attention and help." Listen beyond their words and see beyond their actions. Try to be present with them and focus on building joyful memories with them. My kindest thoughts are being sent to you and your children.
