Anyone still or did you ever boycott Exxon over the Valdez incident?

Yes, I did. Yes, I do.

Exxon still has not paid the full fine. Ergo, they don't deserve my measly $25 a week.

If they pay the fine and if they actually do manage to reclaim 1/4 of what they claim, I might buy Exxon again. Might.
BP is out of the question.

I don't boycott Exxon, because of the Valdez incident, but I do boycott them because of their policies on LGBT employees.

If it is the cheaper price in my area, I will buy it. I have nothing against Juan Valdez, either.

No sense or cents - except that before spending way too much time online someone obviously spent far too much time plunked in front of a tv.

Says Overland1: "What did Juan Valdez ever do to Exxon that I should boycott? All he does is pick coffee beans."

I think PETA accused him of paying his donkey less than scale for working in the commercials.

No. I buy based on pricing, not misguided notions of "punishing" corporations. Exxon stations are independently owned, so all you are doing is hurting a neighbor, not Exxon.

Drunk Capt Bad spill.
Sorry no link.
I have better things to do.
Without a link - to a few - that means it never happened.
I find that laughable.

Never boycotted, Accidents happen because we are human and do human things. The Valdez changed the idea of Single hull ships. Too bad people did not think about that earlier, It would have been only some paint and metal, maybe.

We don't have Exxon stations in this area. That gasoline and oil supplied by Exxon could be in any station for that matter. We have a Marathon supply terminal here that supplies every station within the Central Kentucky area with gas.

It wasn't an ACCIDENT. It was a drunken Captain not staying sober and performing the duties for which he was responsible.

It was an ACCIDENT! Are you going to stop buying GE products because they support our enemies?
