yeah are there are some places such as TEXACO who offer an additional .05 off when you use their c/c. Some stations allow a discount if you use cash.

I got myself a Wawa Visa since I usually top off at the local Wawa. They offer 10% towards a Wawa gift card at on Wawa purchases and 2% on all other purchases for the first 90 days, then 4% and 1% afterwards. I've gotten $175 in free gas since I signed up in March. I just use that card for everything and pay it off at the end of the month...

Looks like I should start using my discover card. Does capital one give discount?

The BP Visa card offers 10% back for the first 60 days, then 5% after that.

BP Chase Visa (or Mastercard?) offers 5% cash back on all BP gas station purchases.
Discover Gas Card offers 5% rebate on any fuel but up to $100 purchase in a month(including car repair).
Citi Dividend Card offers 2% rebate on fuel, supermarket and drugstore purchases (5% in the first 6 months).

The American Express card offered at Costco pays you money back via a certificate to use when shopping at their stores. You get it once a year. Along with their lower gas prices, it seems to be a pretty good deal - for members only.

Every time I submit a gas price I get a confirmation that includes an offer for a general credit card (affiliated with a bank, not a refiner) that claims to offer rebates on fuel. They are not of interest to me, so I tune them out, but if you submit a price, click on the offer. (If you don't get that offer, could it be that they only make that offer to members who have a sufficiently high number of points?)
